Design, Develop, and Support Complex Interfaces

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in healthcare interoperability and interface development, with strong expertise in HL7 standards and practical experience working with leading interface engines such as Rhapsody, Corepoint, or Mirth.

  • Design and develop complex interfaces using Corepoint, Mirth Connect (NextGen Connect), and Rhapsody, ensuring seamless data exchange between clinical and enterprise systems.
  • Perform rigorous testing of interfaces to ensure data integrity, message routing accuracy, and system reliability.
  • Monitor interface performance and provide timely support for production issues, troubleshooting and resolving errors, message failures, and connectivity problems.

Familiarity with database concepts and the ability to write and execute SQL queries are essential. Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and interpersonal skills are also required to collaborate with technical and non-technical staff.

Experience Required:

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare integration/interface development.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 standards (v2.x, v3, FHIR, CCD).
  • Experience with various communication protocols such as SFTP, MLLP, and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Hands-on expertise in at least one interface engine: Corepoint, Rhapsody, or Mirth.
  • Good understanding of healthcare workflows, EHR data exchange, and interoperability concepts.
