Job Title: Data Management Expert

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Expert to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing a metadata management system solution, implementing data management goals and standards, and overseeing the company's data governance framework.

  • Develop a metadata management system solution using custom scripts and upload metadata to the API for deeper catalog content understanding.
  • Implement and oversee the company's data management goals, standards, practices, process, and technologies.
  • Establish data connections for relevant schemas, define data steward roles, and develop a data governance framework ensuring clear accountability for principal information assets.
  • Onboard data domain teams by conducting assessments, discovering metadata availability and completeness, and developing processes for working with business owners and IT.
  • Be the point of contact for data governance queries, coordinate data integrity gap resolution, and work in an agile environment with iterative development approaches.

Requirements:

  • Experience in data governance, metadata management, and data stewardship.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and implement iterative development approaches.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
