Job Title: Data Insight Specialist

A unique opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Insight Specialist.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to support the delivery of exceptional service outcomes for our clients. As a Data Insight Specialist, you will be responsible for capturing, organizing, and analyzing data to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Your primary focus will be on assisting with data capture, organization, storage, and analysis for creating and maintaining cost indices and escalation. You will also be involved in upkeeping construction project cost databases, managing large amounts of data in Excel, and collaborating with cost estimators/quantity surveyors to fill in holes in data.

You will contribute to the process for collection, capture, and utilization of historic data and perform other duties as supervisor or senior leadership deem necessary. Additionally, you will coordinate with senior and technical staff to ensure seamless project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years relevant experience
  • Firm decision-making abilities, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must have experience in data analysis and data management
  • Must understand IT technology including Intranet, MS Windows, MS Office Suites
  • Experience with Microsoft suite particularly managing data in Excel and SharePoint preferred
  • SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, and Tableau skills beneficial
  • Attention to details
  • Experience managing and analysing large data sets will be beneficial
  • Interest or experience in construction industry or how things go together
  • Motivated to work independently and ability to work as part of a team
  • Dedication to current/continued pursuit of registrations
  • Excellent English communication skills
