Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Mechanical Engineer to spearhead the design, coordination, and implementation of plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and firefighting systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple initiatives, ensuring seamless project delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with extensive experience in designing, coordinating, and implementing complex plumbing, HVAC, and firefighting systems. Proficiency in Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools is essential for this role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams are also required.

In addition to their technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines. They will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Experience: 8-15 years in Plumbing/HVAC & Firefighting Design Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop plumbing system layouts, including pipe sizing and equipment selection
  2. Perform calculations as directed by senior engineer
  3. Conduct heat load calculations using HAP (Hourly Analysis Program) to determine heating and cooling requirements for buildings
  4. Select equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, VRF systems, fan coil units, air handling units (AHUs), fans, and DX units based on project specifications
  5. Coordinate and collaborate real-time with other disciplines to develop designs
