We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in Python, Java, Selenium, Web API testing, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building automation frameworks, ensuring application reliability, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality software at speed.

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python/Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Automate functional, regression, API, and integration test cases.
  • Perform REST/SOAP Web API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Python requests libraries.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure testing is aligned with Agile/DevOps principles and shift-left testing strategies.
  • Conduct performance, compatibility, and reliability testing where applicable.
  • Write and review test plans, test cases, and test scripts for coverage and traceability.
  • Support DevOps testing by automating infrastructure validation, smoke testing in cloud deployments, and monitoring pipelines.
  • Participate in code reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement discussions.

Required Skills

  • Programming: Strong hands-on experience in Python (mandatory) and working knowledge of Java.
  • Automation: Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Pytest, or Robot Framework.
  • Web API Testing: Experience with RESTful/SOAP APIs, using Postman, Rest Assured, or Python libraries.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
  • Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab experience is essential.
  • Database Testing: Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
  • Agile Practices: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
