Job Title: Senior Web Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced web engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and modern web technologies. This role requires strong proficiency in PHP programming with object-oriented programming concepts, extensive experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and management, as well as solid knowledge of jQuery and JavaScript for frontend development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust web applications using the CodeIgniter PHP framework.
  • Create and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and manage WordPress-based projects.
  • Design and implement scalable data structures and algorithms for high-performance web applications.
  • Optimize database performance using query optimization techniques and indexing strategies.
  • Develop responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.


Required Skills & Experience:
  • 8+ years of professional full stack development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP programming with object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Extensive experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and management.
  • Solid knowledge of jQuery and JavaScript for frontend development.
  • Proven expertise in WordPress development including custom themes and plugins.
  • Hands-on experience with CodeIgniter framework for PHP development.
  • Strong DevOps skills including CI/CD implementation, version control (Git), and automated deployment.
  • Practical experience with AWS services including deployment, monitoring, and scaling applications.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.


Bonus Points:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience with additional PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with additional AWS services (Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
