Construction Project Coordinator

The role of a Construction Project Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. This individual will be responsible for overseeing on-site activities, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Key duties include:

  • Preparing site plans and specifications
  • Inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with design, project specifications, and safety codes
  • Directing or performing surveys and measurements
  • Estimating costs and preparing budgets
  • Planning and coordinating construction activities for timely completion of projects
  • Working with architects, consultants, and contractors on project estimations and designs
  • Performing geotechnical analysis and conducting soil tests for structural foundations
  • Reporting on work progress and budget matters to seniors
  • Ensuring materials and workmanship meet the project Quality Standards and Design requirements
  • Addressing problems that might arise during construction

Requirements:

  • On-site project management experience, with a focus on civil and structural engineering
  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and stakeholders
  • Strong background in quality control processes and safety compliance in construction projects
  • Proficiency in using AI-based project planning and scheduling tools is a plus
  • Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 2-3 years' experience
