Job Title: Site Excellence Leader

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our site excellence program. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the implementation of our master plan, setting objectives and priorities, and leading change management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the implementation of the site's master plan for process excellence.
  • Set objectives and priorities and lead the change management processes for the department as part of the site leadership team.
  • Maintain alignment between all parts of the site's supply chain by coordinating all departments to work together in process excellence deployment.
  • Lead and support all departments in implementing best practices to meet their business goals.
  • Coach managers to develop teams at all levels to produce performance results through process excellence practices.

People Management:

  • Demonstrate leadership skills to develop team members against role capabilities.
  • Ensure effective implementation of training & development programs by aligning site /line management.
  • Coordinate training of trainers and evaluation programs to maintain consistency of approach and ensure alignment with organizational capability program.

Focused Improvement:

  • Provide expert loss & waste leadership and coaching to operational teams.
  • Participate in and lead improvement projects using the DMAIC methodology.
  • Develop specific manufacturing performance improvement initiatives to optimize cost, eliminate waste and improve operational flexibility.
  • Engage with daily operational review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities.
  • Practice maturity assessments - Develop & implement a practice maturity improvement strategy for the site and conduct regular assessments.

Team Meetings & Communications:

  • Implement weekly/ monthly/ quarterly communications to drive engagement and momentum of the process excellence journey.
  • Support task forces and shift-based teams in their deployment of process excellence through regular meetings and communication of activities.
  • Define and establish the site leadership team's schedule to support and lead the deployment of process excellence.
