Job Title: Chemistry Researcher

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled chemistry researcher to join our team. As a PhD-level researcher, you will be responsible for creating and analyzing complex chemistry problems to test the reasoning capabilities of large language models.

About the Job:

  • You will create chemistry problems and review how AI models solve them, sharing insights on their understanding of complex reasoning and logical steps.
  • Tasks may include calculating equilibrium concentrations, developing reactor models, and analyzing model responses.

Eligibility:

  • Currently enrolled in or have completed a Ph.D. or Postdoctoral in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Able to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples.
  • Strong written communication, especially in remote settings.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Stable computer and internet access.

Time Commitment & Contract Details:

  • Commitments Required: at least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
  • Engagement type: Contractor assignment/freelancer.
  • Duration of contract: 1 month.
