Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who excels in identifying and troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring software meets high standards of quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software applications meet or exceed requirements, using tools like Selenium and Appium for automated testing.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and communicate defects in issue tracking systems, working closely with the development team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Methodology Expertise: Develop strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies to apply concepts of unit, system, regression, product, integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Test Case Development: Create and maintain test cases and test results in test management systems, utilizing expertise in manual and automation testing tools.

Requirements:

  • Expertise: 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with advanced knowledge of system development lifecycle, methodology, and testing knowledge.
  • Skill Set: Solid knowledge of manual and automation testing tools, including Selenium and Appium, and experience with relational databases like MySQL and SQL Server.
  • Additional Skills: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with hands-on experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Testing Techniques: Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
