Job Title

Lead Mechanical Engineer

This is a senior-level mechanical engineer position responsible for leading the development of consumer and industrial electronic products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and leadership ability to guide a small team of engineers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end product design and development from concept stage through to production release and market launch.

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks with full GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
  • Perform design calculations, DFMEA, and tolerance analysis for robust product performance.
  • Design products in plastics (injection moulding), sheet metal, die-casting, and machining.
  • Drive material selection based on performance, regulatory compliance, and cost.
  • Ensure manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and cost optimization.
Skill Requirements
  • Must have 8–10 years of mechanical product design & development (NPD) experience.
  • Education Mechanical Engineering , Industrial Engineering or STEM.
  • Strong background in consumer electronics, or similar domain experience is preferred.
  • Must-have: SolidWorks CAD expertise with simulation exposure (thermal/structural FEA preferred).
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end product designs from concept to market.
  • Experience in leading a small team (2–3 engineers).
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
