As a Senior Cost Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all quantities and material costs are accurately assessed. This involves overseeing the work of cost estimators and collaborating with other departments to control project costs and maintain competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the cost estimating process for projects, ensuring accurate assessment of quantities and material costs.
- Review and validate cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams to gather necessary data for cost estimation.
- Oversee and mentor junior cost estimators, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of their work.
- Prepare final cost reports and support the estimation manager in presenting estimates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in cost estimation, Engineering, or related fields.
- 7+ years of experience in cost estimation, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation and analysis software.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and team management skills.
