Role Overview:

The Climatech Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and scaling of Climatech initiatives and programs aimed at nurturing startups that address climate change challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management: Develop and implement strategies to enhance Climatech programs, ensuring successful execution and scalability.
  • Startup Support: Provide ongoing support to Climatech startups, including mentorship, funding access, and network building.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong collaborations with corporate partners, investors, government agencies, and academic institutions to drive Climatech initiatives forward.
  • Events & Workshops: Organize and manage events, workshops, and seminars on climate technologies, sustainability trends, and related topics to provide knowledge-sharing platforms for startups.
  • Grant and Funding Management: Identify funding opportunities, grants, and other financial resources for Climatech startups, guiding them through application processes.
  • Mentorship Coordination: Facilitate and manage the mentor network, ensuring startups have access to the guidance they need to overcome business and technical challenges.
  • Impact Reporting: Track the progress of startups and prepare regular reports highlighting the impact and outcomes of the Climatech programs.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on emerging trends in Climatech, identifying gaps and recommending areas for new program development.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and other program managers, to ensure the smooth execution of Climatech programs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, preferably in the sustainability or Climatech sectors.
  • Strong understanding of climate technologies, sustainability trends, and the challenges facing Climatech startups.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in startup ecosystems, incubators, or accelerators is a plus.
  • Understanding of public policy and government initiatives related to climate change and environmental technologies.
  • Experience with fundraising or grant management.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop innovative solutions to address climate challenges.
