Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Director to lead our data science team and drive business growth through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical learning, machine learning, and data visualization, with a proven track record of developing and executing business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and recommend analytical approaches and methodologies to address key business issues.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Lead a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver high-quality data products and insights.
  • Establish and execute the data science strategy and vision for the organization, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement best practices for data collection, analysis, modeling, machine learning, and visualization.
  • Communicate and present data insights and recommendations to stakeholders, executives, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in applying statistical learning methods in developing data-driven solutions.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading and managing large, complex consulting engagements.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Proficiency in various data science tools and languages, such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, Spark, TensorFlow, etc.
  • Experience in applying advanced AI techniques, such as machine learning, predictive analytics, optimization, semantic analysis, time-series analysis, and advanced visualization.
  • High-level experience in database engineering systems, methodologies, and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Experience in cloud, especially AWS technology.
  • Excellent quantitative skills and the ability to tell a story using data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
  • High-level mathematical ability and logical approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects from conception to completion with minimal guidance.
