Job Title:
ServiceNow Specialist.
Experience Required

To succeed in this role, you will need a solid foundation in IT service management principles and a strong understanding of ServiceNow.

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience working with ServiceNow CMDB/Discovery is required, preferably with at least 5 years focused on development and 4 years managing the CMDB.
  • At least 1 year of experience implementing and maintaining Service Discovery solutions is highly desirable.
Mandatory Skills
  1. ServiceNow CMDB:
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining CI classes, attributes, and relationship properties for all Configuration Items (CIs).
  • Expertise in managing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure data accuracy and certification.
  1. Service Discovery & Cloud Discovery:
  • Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow Discovery and Cloud Discovery solutions.
  1. Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Automated Test Frameworks (ATFs) creation and maintenance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CMDB health dashboards and certifications is highly desired.
Roles and Responsibilities
  1. ServiceNow Implementation:
  • Implement and maintain Discovery and Cloud Discovery processes to meet business needs.
  1. CMDB Optimization:
  • Optimize CI classes, attributes, and relationships to improve CMDB efficiency.
  1. CMDB Health:
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy in data certifications and leverage dashboards to maintain CMDB health.
  1. Integration Support:
  • Provide hands-on support for ServiceNow CMDB operations and integrations.
  1. Process Alignment:
  • Evaluate and align CMDB with organizational IT service management processes.
Technical Requirements
  • Proficiency in Java or other relevant programming languages.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow platform and tools.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management concepts and best practices.
