Cyber Security Job Description

Our organization requires a Cyber Security Analyst to safeguard our digital infrastructure. This role is responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

This position involves working with advanced security tools, including SIEM platforms, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence sources. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and be proficient in common security protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.

The selected candidate must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to analyze logs from firewalls, antivirus, email security, and threat intelligence sources. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required. Familiarity with industry certifications, such as Security+, CEH, or similar, is also beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and detect potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents
  • Analyze logs from various security sources
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, EDR, IDS/IPS, and other security tools
  • Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP protocols, and network infrastructure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and security best practices
