Job Title:
Digital Transformation Consultant – IT Infrastructure

The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Digital Transformation Consultant with expertise in IT infrastructure assessment and transformation roadmapping within the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • A comprehensive analysis of current IT infrastructure, including data centers, network architecture, cloud readiness, storage, compute, and operational support systems.
  • Developing and presenting a phased business-aligned roadmap for infrastructure modernization and digital enablement (cloud adoption, automation, cybersecurity, etc.).
  • Leveraging Oil & Gas industry knowledge to align IT transformation initiatives with sector-specific requirements such as SCADA, DCS, PLCs, regulatory compliance (e.g., NERC, FERC), and HSE systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. 8+ years of experience in IT consulting or digital transformation roles. Proven track record of conducting IT infrastructure assessments and developing digital transformation roadmaps. Strong understanding of Oil & Gas operations (Exploration & Production, Refining, Transportation, and Distribution). Experience with technologies like cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), virtualization, SD-WAN, OT/IT convergence, and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISA/IEC 62443). Familiarity with industry-specific platforms (e.g., PI System, SAP IS-Oil, Maximo, AVEVA, Aspen Tech). Strong analytical and presentation skills with experience in stakeholder-facing roles. Certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, or relevant cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus. Direct involvement in infrastructure transformation programs in Oil & Gas companies. Experience working with or for EPCs, Supermajors, or national oil companies. Understanding of sustainability initiatives and ESG reporting impact on IT systems.
