Job Description

We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee our strategic initiatives and drive the execution of our ambitious 36-month roadmap. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prioritizing, planning, and implementing complex cross-functional projects, securing partnerships, and ensuring timely deliverables.

The Director of Strategic Initiatives will work closely with the Founder, executive team, event partners, and sponsors globally to shape an inclusive, democratic, and innovative AI future.

This is a high-visibility leadership role that requires exceptional project management skills, strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Management: Prioritize initiatives based on impact, ROI, and strategic value.
  • Build and maintain the 36-month phased roadmap.
  • Monitor progress, risks, and ensure deliverables are on track.
  • Execution & Delivery: Lead cross-functional teams and vendors to execute initiatives.
  • Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Ensure initiatives launch on schedule.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with global policymakers, enterprise executives, event organizers, and sponsors.
  • Present progress updates to leadership, sponsors, and partners.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, agencies, and external collaborators.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, or operations, ideally in AI, technology policy, or global nonprofits.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar programs and complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of AI, governance, and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional project management skills with ability to juggle multiple initiatives.
  • Experience working with corporate sponsors, government partners, or international organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and take ownership of outcomes.
