Job Overview:

The Food Service Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences in the food and beverage industry. This involves overseeing staff performance, ensuring seamless service delivery, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness.

  • Support management in recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluating, mentoring, disciplining, and motivating employees.
  • Monitor dining areas to ensure optimal seating availability, efficient service, guest satisfaction, and employee well-being.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and assist with inventory management to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, report incidents and injuries to supervisors, and complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Welcome and engage guests according to company standards, anticipate their needs, and address any concerns promptly.
  • Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and support team efforts to achieve shared goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Read and verify information from various sources and inspect tools, equipment, or machines to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Perform other tasks as reasonably requested by supervisors.
