About Our GIS Development Team

We are looking for a skilled GIS Developer to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Design, Develop and Maintain GIS Applications: Create custom GIS applications and web-based mapping solutions that meet user requirements.
  • Analyze User Requirements: Develop and optimize geospatial workflows and tools to improve efficiency.
  • Integrate GIS with Enterprise Systems: Integrate GIS applications with various enterprise systems and APIs.
  • Develop Automation Tools: Develop scripts and tools for data automation, analysis, and processing using Python and ArcPy.
  • Perform Spatial Data Modeling: Perform spatial data modeling, geoprocessing, and complex spatial analysis.
  • Maintain Spatial Databases: Maintain and optimize spatial databases, including PostGIS and SQL Server with spatial extensions.
  • Create Interactive Maps: Create interactive maps, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, or Mapbox.
  • Troubleshoot GIS Issues: Provide support and troubleshooting for GIS-related issues and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in GIS/Computer Science/Geography: Possess a degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 7 Years of GIS Experience: Have at least 7 years of experience in GIS development.
  • ESRI ArcGIS Suite Proficiency: Be proficient in the ESRI ArcGIS Suite, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Online.
  • Migration Experience: Have experience migrating Geocortex Essentials and custom HTML 5 web applications into ESRI's JavaScript API version 4.
  • VertiGIS Studio Experience: Have experience working in VertiGIS Studio and ESRI Experience Builder.

Prioritized Qualifications:

  • Programming Skills: Possess strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript (Leaflet/ArcGIS API for JS), or .NET.
  • Spatial Database Experience: Have experience with spatial databases, including PostGIS, SQL Server, and Oracle Spatial.
  • ETL/Data Transformation Tools: Be familiar with ETL/data transformation tools like FME, GDAL, or other similar tools.
  • Web Development Frameworks/APIs: Have knowledge of web development frameworks and APIs, including REST/SOAP.
  • Enterprise Integration Experience: Have experience integrating GIS with other enterprise systems, including ERP and CRM.
