Role Summary

Senior Associate Tax Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and advancing moderate to complex tax returns, providing exceptional service and creating a positive work environment for professional growth and development.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax concepts, with the ability to continuously enhance knowledge through client work and staying up-to-date with tax developments.
  • They will also be responsible for ensuring quality and timely delivery of tasks assigned to their team, training and mentoring associates, and assisting the team in tax research to apply tax theory and principles on partnership and corporate tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and advance moderate to complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering open communication, teamwork, and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Mentor and train associates, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance their skills and confidence.

Required Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
  • Good knowledge of US business tax returns (1065/1120) with complex situations, including forms like 8865 and 5471.
