Financial Director Position

As a senior financial leader, you will oversee and manage the company's capital structure and optimal financing options. Your strategic direction will help track cash flow, manage accounting and finance departments, and ensure accurate financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the accounting team
  • Provide regular accounting and Tally management
  • Review and ensure timely GST and TDS filing by the accounting firm
  • Review and oversee MIS, cashflow, and vendor ledger work
  • Develop business models and forecasts for investors
  • Plan quarterly, half-yearly, and fiscal year expenses
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cash flows
  • Assist in reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Participate in annual budgeting and planning processes, administering and reviewing all financial plans
  • Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, as well as internal and external audits
  • Manage invoicing and processing vendor and other payments, including salaries and reimbursements

You will take responsibility for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, driving the company's financial strategy and hiring needs.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Develop annual operating, capital, and program budgets
  • Report on these budgets
  • Ensure cash flow aligns with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities
  • Implement best practices and tools to maintain a well-controlled yet flexible organization
  • Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation
  • Work with founders to efficiently develop budget proposals and provide access to project finance information
  • Analyze revenue opportunities and economic trends, evaluate internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
  • Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments
  • Monitor business performance using tracking tools and establish corrective measures as needed
  • Prepare detailed reports for earnings calls, management team, and the rest of the company
  • Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems

Five or more years of experience in financial and commercial roles, minimum two years experience in executive leadership/team handling role, CA qualification or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, or finance.

Goal-oriented, assertive, and hands-on problem solver with excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail, organisational and time management skills are required.
