As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing strategies for managing vendor relationships.
The AVS team is seeking a driven, customer-centric individual to join their team. You will collaborate with leaders from Retail and Vendor Services teams to optimize product lines for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.
- You will engage directly with internal teams to drive business growth and performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon.
- Utilize skills across major functional areas such as site merchandising, buying, inventory management, finance, operations, and online marketing to enhance the performance of vendor partners.
- Focus on operational aspects of managing customer relationships with vendors.
- Develop long-term partnerships with key vendor partners for the managed group of vendors.
- Partner with the Retail Category Team to establish successful communication channels, set expectations, provide status updates, and manage towards a growth plan for vendors.
- Build and execute on a joint business plan that delivers on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for vendors and Amazon.
- Conduct in-depth analysis on vendor issues and publish recommendations and action plans based on data to improve the vendor experience.
Success will be measured by the performance of your vendors on input metrics and impact on creating a great customer experience for buying consumers.
