The role of a Senior Financial Analyst involves working closely with clients to comprehend their investment requirements in the structured finance sector.

  • Onboarding clients' portfolios by reviewing and interpreting financial agreements, understanding reporting from servicers or trustees
  • Collaborate with clients to support risk and exposure monitoring of transactions
  • Calculate and monitor key metrics such as covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, concentration tests, and Borrowing Base calculations
  • Assist/lead daily operations of various workstreams and ensure accurate and timely deliverables
  • Liaise with the Business Analyst and Implementation team to ensure data accuracy on proprietary platforms
  • Mentor freshers to improve learning curve
  • Enhance client portfolio surveillance and share critical performance aspects proactively
  • Standardize and streamline processes to increase efficiency and establish SOPs around deliverables
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Broad knowledge of Structured Finance products/corporate credit landscape/ABL/CLO/Middle Market Portfolio Financing
  • In-depth understanding of core financial concepts
  • Proficiency in financial modeling using Excel
  • Familiarity with financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Capacity to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Graduate degree in finance (MBA, CFA, CAIA, FRM) is preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, or Financial Advisory firm
