Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished AI Systems Architect to spearhead the development of a cutting-edge FastAPI backend.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex workflow orchestration pipelines, leveraging Temporal or similar technologies, to power multi-agent workflows. Additionally, they will need to design memory and context systems for knowledge retrieval and adaptive workflows.

  • Design and implement workflow orchestration pipelines using Temporal or similar technologies.
  • Implement memory and context systems for knowledge retrieval and adaptive workflows.
  • Develop robust error handling mechanisms for both internal reasoning and external API/tool failures.
  • Manage authentication, user integrations, and secure credential handling.
  • Deploy, monitor, and scale backend infrastructure efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong background in Python and FastAPI.
  • Proven ability to design and implement workflow orchestration systems.
  • Experience with context management, prompt engineering, and AI-engineering (about 1-2 years of experience with AI and agents) and some level of understanding of agent frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Postgres and vector databases.
  • Ability to build systems for multi-step planning, minimal hallucination, and graceful error recovery.
  • Familiarity with multi-agent architectures and dynamic workflow generation (functional programming approaches).
