Game Design and Animation Academic Lead

The ideal candidate will bring strong academic and professional expertise in game development, animation, and interactive media with demonstrated proficiency in visual storytelling and technical skills including programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee curriculum delivery planning and quality assurance.
  • Develop and teach core courses in game design, animation, and interactive programming.
  • Mentor students in game development projects and industry-linked internships.
  • Integrate programming modules into course content.
  • Lead collaborations and support faculty development.
  • Organize game jams showcases and co-curricular events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, JavaScript.
  • Experience with game engines Unity Unreal Engine Godot Blender.
  • Understanding of animation workflows storytelling and level design.
  • Strong knowledge of gameplay mechanics UI/UX for games and interactive media.
  • Ability to lead teams coordinate across departments and manage academic operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Game Design Animation Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant academic or industry experience.
  • Strong portfolio of game/interactive projects and/or published work.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
