**Game Engine Programmer Role Overview

As a game engine programmer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing game engine systems for video games. You will work closely with the source code of game engines, customizing and optimizing to meet the specific needs of our projects.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Designing and implementing game engine systems.
  • Customizing and optimizing game engine source code.

Requirements for Success

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of game engine architecture, shipped multiple video games, and a proven track record of working with game engine source code. Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in video game development, with a specific focus on game engine architecture.
  • Proficient in Scripting, C++ or C# and familiar with other programming languages used in game development.
  • Strong understanding of computer graphics, physics, and game AI programming.
  • Demonstrated ability to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
