Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical quality assurance specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and focusing particularly on database testing.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Test Life Cycle (STLC), as well as hands-on experience in manual and automation testing using tools like Selenium or Cypress.
Database testing skills using SQL are also essential, along with proficiency in bug tracking tools such as Jira or Trello. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are also required.
Key Responsibilities:- Test Planning and Execution: Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Manual and Automated Testing: Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality, including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Defect Identification and Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years in software testing (Freshers with strong knowledge are welcome to apply).
- Skills: Manual testing, automation testing using tools like Selenium or Cypress, database testing using SQL, proficiency with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Trello, good knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
