**Job Opportunity:** Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer

We are seeking an experienced developer to design, build, customize, and integrate solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC). The role involves developing new features, modernizing legacy code, integrating with external systems, and ensuring reliable and scalable solutions that support business operations.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with consultants, business stakeholders, and technical peers to deliver high-quality outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing, customizing, and extending D365 Business Central using AL (extensions 2.0)
  2. Designing and implementing extensions, integrations, and third-party connectivity
  3. Modernizing existing C/AL code into AL, ensuring smooth migration
  4. Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues in BC environments
  5. Working with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  6. FOLLOWING coding standards, performance best practices, and security guidelines
  7. Developing and maintaining API integrations (REST, OData, SOAP) and data migration scripts
  8. Conducting unit testing, participating in peer code reviews, and supporting deployments

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A strong command of AL development and the VS Code extension environment
  2. Hands-on experience as a NAV / Business Central developer (4-6 years)
  3. Solid understanding of Business Central architecture, modules, and workflows
  4. Experience with C/AL and migration projects to AL
  5. Proficiency in SQL Server, data modeling, and database optimization
  6. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification(s)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Experience deploying or managing BC in SaaS/cloud environments

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is also required.
