Job Title: Network System Administrator

The role of a Network System Administrator involves overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer networks. This includes setting up network hardware and software, implementing security measures to protect against cyber threats, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
  • Configure and maintain network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Analyze and resolve network performance issues, including connectivity problems and slow data transfer rates.
  • Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber attacks.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications.

Required Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills:

  • Cisco Routing & Switching (with OSPF & BGP as must)
  • Firewalls (any, preferably Palo Alto), Load Balancers (A10 or F5), Wireless (Preferably Meraki), DDI (any, preferably Infoblox), SDWAN (any, preferably VeloCloud or CISCO)
  • NAC (preferably CISCO ISE)
