Job Title: Software Test Automation Specialist

Job Overview:

We seek an experienced software test automation specialist to drive our automated testing efforts forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Playwright, leveraging its capabilities to streamline and enhance our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright, ensuring seamless integration with existing workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient testing strategies, optimizing resource allocation and reducing testing times.
  • Design and execute comprehensive testing plans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in automated testing, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our testing processes.
Requirements:
  • 4-10 years of experience in software test automation, with a strong focus on tooling such as Playwright, Protractor, Cucumber, and Selenium.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript and TypeScript, with the ability to write efficient, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Strong understanding of API testing principles and experience with REST Assured.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience in tools like Bamboo.
  • Working familiarity with test management solutions, including Xray and JIRA, Agile.
  • Experience with cross-browser testing, browser stack management, and test data management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of Git and Bitbucket, with experience in managing large-scale repositories.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and their application in software development and testing.
