Job Overview

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium/Cypress to join our team. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing efficient test scripts, performing automation and manual testing, executing automated tests, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts using Selenium/Cypress.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate automation strategies.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of software applications and identify areas for automation.
  • Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of proven work experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver/Cypress and Java/Python programming.
  • In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and practices.
  • Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
Desirable Skills

The following skills would be advantageous:

  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
