Business Generalist Lead

Job Overview:

The Business Generalist Lead is a high-impact role that involves working closely with the CEO on cross-functional initiatives. As a trusted advisor, you will drive business growth by solving complex problems and delivering outcomes.

This role requires someone who enjoys all aspects of business and operations, can juggle multiple priorities, and is comfortable navigating ambiguity. You will be responsible for collaborating with Sales to maximize revenue, working closely with Customer Success to drive key performance indicators, and owning partnerships to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solve high-impact, cross-functional problems that don't have clear owners — bring clarity, drive execution, and deliver outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify and fix funnel leakages, shape pricing/packaging strategies, and enable the team with better processes and tools.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to drive outcomes on critical KPIs like trial conversions, onboarding health, retention, and churn through strategic inputs and process design.
  • Own and drive key partnerships (e.g. payment providers, enablement tools), ensuring timely execution.
  • Lead company-wide initiatives in collaboration with HR, improving onboarding processes, driving org health projects, and supporting strategic hiring efforts.
  • Design and maintain key business metrics and dashboards, ensuring accurate, actionable data is available for decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in early-stage startups on the business side.
  • Love all things business and sales, with a willingness to get hands-on when needed.
  • Ability to context-switch between domains (support → sales → HR) without losing depth.
  • Comfortable operating in disorder and able to navigate ambiguity.
  • High agency and adaptability to drive results.
