We drive Amazon's Retail business growth worldwide through three core tasks: Selection, Defect Elimination, and operational process support for WW Retail teams.

Job Description:

Our team utilizes machine learning and deep learning approaches to identify and fix catalog defects, ensuring a great shopping experience for customers. We're looking for a customer-obsessed Business Intel Engineer who thrives in a data-driven culture.

  • Experience working with large datasets from multiple sources
  • Making recommendations for new metrics and strategies to improve operational and quality metrics
  • Proficient in at least one data visualization product (Tableau, Qlik, Amazon QuickSight, Power BI)
  • Building new Python utilities and maintaining existing ones
  • Enabling efficient ad-hoc queries and analysis
  • Collaborating closely with research scientists, business analysts, and product leads to scale data
  • Maintaining consistency between platform, operational, and analytic data sources
  • Exploring and learning the latest AWS technologies
  • Mentoring the team on analytics best practices
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL experience
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with industry analytics visualization tools and statistical methods
  • Scripting language experience (Python, Java, R)
  • Master's degree or Advanced technical degree
  • Data modeling and pipeline design knowledge
  • Statistical analysis and co-relation analysis experience
Key Skills:
  • Large Data Handling: Experience working with vast datasets from various sources
  • Business Intelligence: Making strategic decisions based on data insights
  • Visualization Tools: Proficiency in data visualization products like Tableau, Qlik, etc.
  • Programming Languages: Strong skills in languages like Python, Java, R
