Job Description

As a seasoned fuel system engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative fuel system components that meet the demands of hybrid and electric vehicle programs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of these projects, leveraging your expertise in fuel system design, development, and integration.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical communication and supplier management skills, as well as hands-on experience with engineering tools and delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and validate fuel system components (pipes, tanks, pumps, valves, etc.).
  • Collaborate with CAD engineers, lead engineers, SMEs, and suppliers for design releases and issue resolution.
  • Ensure vehicle installation feasibility and compliance with powertrain functionality.
  • Manage suppliers for timely delivery, quality compliance, and technical support.
  • Work with PCDS, eAPQP, and EBER systems for robust program delivery.
  • Utilize 3DX tools for design, validation, and release.
  • Prepare and present technical documents/reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 6–9 years in fuel system component design/development.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle installation and powertrain requirements.
  • Experience in supplier management and cross-functional communication.
  • Familiarity with PCDS, eAPQP, and EBER delivery systems.
  • Hands-on with 3DX CAD tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
