**Job Role:**

About the Job:

The successful candidate will provide ongoing support to our technical teams for the EDM product, ensuring seamless operation and resolving queries as needed.

This includes working on major initiatives and minor upgrades/fixes, collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality results.

  • Provide daily support for the EDM product and address EDM-related queries from team members.
  • Generate reports and execute SQL Queries on our database system.
  • Configure user settings and manage database implementation knowledge.
Essential Skills and Experience:

For this role, we require:

  • Good knowledge of writing database stored procedures/triggers and packages in T-SQL.
  • Proficiency in database programming specifically MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with performance tuning and SQL Server DB administration on Windows/Unix platforms.

Additionally, ideal candidates should have:

  • 1-3 years of experience supporting Markit EDM Product implementation and support.
  • 1-3 years of experience in database programming, especially in MS SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of T/SQL, Querying, Triggers, and Stored Procedures.
  • Familiarity with job scheduling systems like Autosys or Stonebranch, and proficiency in VB scripting.
Preferred Qualifications:

We also welcome applications from those with:

  • At least 2-3 years of industry experience working with Market Data/Reference Data, preferably with exposure to data vendors like Bloomberg or Reuters.
  • Knowledge of vendor products such as Bloomberg Data License or Reuters Datascope Equity.
