Job Title: Advanced Modeling Specialist

We are seeking an Advanced Modeling Specialist to partner with senior members of our team in Investment Risk & Analytics at JPMorgan Chase. IR&A is responsible for the risk oversight of Managed Strategies across the Private Bank and Consumer Bank businesses.

This role will focus on designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI/ML models to derive actionable insights, automate processes, and facilitate strategic decision-making.

  • The successful candidate will lead the model development process, including tasks such as data wrangling/analysis, model training, testing, and selection.
  • They will also collaborate with teams to design and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML initiatives, including problem scoping, data engineering, model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • An additional responsibility will be conducting risk modeling, scenario analysis, and business impact evaluations to ensure AI/ML solutions are robust, ethical, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Requirements:
  • A degree in a quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python or R.
  • Experience working with machine learning libraries and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms for AI/ML model deployment.
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
