Mathematical Modeling Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Mathematical Modeling Specialist to join our team in a challenging and dynamic area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated mathematical pricing models, as well as cutting-edge methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Algorithmic Trading Strategies: Develop and maintain new and existing algorithmic trading strategies to optimize trading execution and workflow.
  • Valuation and Risk Management: Understand valuation and risk management of production trading strategies, including identification of PnL deviations and trade investigations.
  • SDLC Infrastructure: Contribute to the SDLC infrastructure of complex tradable strategies and build analytical tools for risk analysis.
  • Trading Activities: Support both OTC and electronic trading activities by explaining model behavior and identifying major sources of risks in portfolio.
  • Quantitative Models: Assess the appropriateness and limitations of quantitative models and algorithmic strategies, identify and monitor the associated model risk.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong programming background with proficiency in Python or C++.
  • Understanding advanced mathematics used in financial modeling, including topics such as calculus, numerical analysis, optimization, and statistics.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
