Backend Software Engineer with Product Focus

Description:

We are seeking a skilled software developer who can design and develop scalable backend components, integrate new APIs, and contribute to our system infrastructure.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals to enhance their backend development skills while gaining insight into how product decisions are made. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer teams to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write clean, efficient Java code and develop scalable backend components
  • Read and understand external API documentation to facilitate seamless integration
  • Debug production issues by analyzing logs and participating in on-call rotations
  • Test and validate APIs using Postman or similar tools
  • Participate in on-call debugging sessions with customers to resolve real-time issues
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into technical tasks
  • Contribute to technical analysis, design discussions, and roadmap planning
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in backend development with Java
  • Ability to read and interpret API documentation
  • Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, or similar frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of product thinking or interest in pursuing product management
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, log analyzers, and version control systems (Git)
