Backend Engineer Opportunities

We're seeking skilled Backend Engineers to design, build, and scale our applications using modern Java and Spring Boot.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing scalable backend services and robust REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. You'll also work with AWS SQS to build asynchronous, event-driven workflows that ensure system reliability and efficiency.

  • Develop and Scale: Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services and robust REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Data Driven: Optimize and manage our MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, focusing on performance, schema design, and query tuning.
  • Architect for Reliability: Work with AWS SQS to build asynchronous, event-driven workflows that ensure system reliability and efficiency.
  • Lead & Mentor: Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and help guide junior engineers.
  • Drive the Lifecycle: Take end-to-end ownership of features—from gathering requirements and design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams, including frontend and product, to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions.

Requirements:

  • Strong Foundation: Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
  • Database Master: Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and database optimization.
  • Cloud Savvy: Hands-on experience with AWS SQS or other messaging queues.
  • Problem Solver: Demonstrated ability to own and drive projects from concept to completion.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
