Responsibilities:- Carry out research-related activities like literature survey, ideation, design, experimentation, and communication to white papers.
- Perform simulation works for the PowerTrain, including motor and controller with vehicle dynamics for performance evaluation.
- Explore possibilities to improve the motor drive as a product further, providing opportunities to work on research projects.
- Assist the Systems Engineering team with EV architecture layout, RCAs for ongoing issues, and other tasks.
- Interact with cross-functional teams, identify requirements, and convert them into design.
- Strong knowledge in Electric Motors and Power Electronics.
- Experience working with simulation environments like MATLAB Simulink, Simplorer, PSpice, etc.
- Strong basics in Control Systems and implementation of Closed Loop control on power converters and motors.
- Familiarity with Field-Oriented Control (FOC) and motor control algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages and code implementation on embedded boards.
- A paid internship with an opportunity to convert into a full-time role based on skills and performance.
- An estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
