Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential system issues, implementing preventive measures, and enhancing system resilience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engineer reliability by proactively addressing system vulnerabilities and developing strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Automate processes for efficiency and speed, leveraging programming languages such as Java, Python, or Bash.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, drive corrective actions, and prioritize improvements in the SRE backlog.
  • Optimize performance by applying expertise in programming and scripting to strengthen infrastructure and services.
  • Mentor & grow colleagues, champion best practices, and promote innovation within the team.
  • Continuously evolve by staying ahead of new technologies, adapting quickly, and contributing to shaping the future of our IT systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, DevOps, or software engineering, with expertise in troubleshooting, automation, and customer support.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native platforms and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
