About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA Engineer to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations.

  • Lead the development of real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain secure data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in SCADAMES engineering within the manufacturing industry. They must be proficient in Ignition SCADA Inductive Automation, including scripting module configuration and project deployment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Architect and implement industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity.
  • Manage industrial databases, SQL historian, timeseries databases for high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing and predictive analytics.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in MES functions, production tracking OEE downtime analysis, traceability SPC etc. Proficiency with database technologies, SQL Server MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent is essential.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA HMIs and plant floor connectivity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards ISA95 ISA88, ISA99 IEC 62443.
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms Azure IoT AWS IoT etc.
  • Certifications Ignition Gold Certified Specialist OPC UA or relevant industrial ITOT certifications.
