Job Title: Lead Python Developer

A highly skilled and experienced leader is required to spearhead our data-driven initiatives.

  • Transforming retail and e-commerce through scalable systems requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strategic vision. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in developing large-scale, high-availability systems that handle complex supply chain operations, order management, and personalized customer experiences at massive scale.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and automate scalable data pipelines using Python and Pandas to extract valuable insights from vast datasets.
  • Implement and manage data ingestion and transformation processes using Hive SQL for data warehousing, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Configure, monitor, and optimize Elasticsearch clusters for indexing, searching, and analytics performance, driving business decisions with data-driven insights.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Flask to facilitate secure data exchange between systems, promoting collaboration and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineering teams to support data-driven applications and reporting tools, fostering a culture of transparency and open communication.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, reliability, and integrity throughout the pipeline, upholding the highest standards of excellence.

Skill Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Python, particularly in leveraging Pandas for efficient data processing and analysis.
  • Proven expertise in ETL frameworks and pipeline automation strategies, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • In-depth knowledge of Elasticsearch, including indexing, querying, and optimizing for maximum performance.
  • Familiarity with Hive SQL and distributed data systems, allowing for effective data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and problem-solving.

Experience Level Required:

  • 5-16 years of experience in software development, preferably in leading roles or positions requiring similar skill sets.
