Effluent Treatment Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and operate our Effluent Treatment Plant.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining wastewater treatment facilities
  • A strong understanding of chemical and biological processes involved in wastewater treatment
  • The ability to analyze data and implement process improvements
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills
Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate and Maintain the ETP Plant
    Ensure the efficient operation of the plant, including monitoring and controlling various parameters such as pH, temperature, and flow rates
  2. Monitor Treatment Process and Perform Routine Tests
    Regularly check and test the water quality to ensure it meets regulatory standards
  3. Troubleshoot Issues and Implement Process Improvements
    Analyze problems and develop solutions to improve the plant's efficiency and reduce costs
  4. Maintain Accurate Records of Plant Operations
    Keep detailed records of plant performance, including maintenance schedules, testing results, and any issues that arise
  5. Ensure Compliance with Environmental Regulations and Safety Protocols
    Familiarize yourself with local regulations and industry best practices to ensure the plant operates safely and within legal limits
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in operating and maintaining wastewater treatment facilities
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental science, engineering)
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and record-keeping skills
