Sales Team Lead

As a Sales Team Lead - Inside Sales at POWER BRIDGE SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED, you will be responsible for leading a team of Inside Sales Representatives while actively engaging in sales activities. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth, manage client relationships, and ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, manage, and mentor the inside sales team to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment that encourages growth and high engagement.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to develop the team's skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management.
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive inside sales strategies to generate leads, close sales, and expand market presence.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and external sales teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall company goals.
- Identify new sales opportunities, monitor industry trends, and adjust strategies as necessary to stay competitive.
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Oversee lead generation activities, ensuring that the team is effectively qualifying leads and moving them through the sales funnel.
- Monitor lead sources, pipeline health, and conversion rates, ensuring continuous flow of new opportunities.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure a consistent stream of high-quality leads.
- Sales Performance & Reporting
- Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, sales cycle length, and revenue growth.
- Generate and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to senior management.
- Implement improvements in sales processes based on data-driven insights.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure the team delivers excellent customer service by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a point of escalation for major or complex sales issues.
- Ensure timely follow-up on leads, inquiries, and customer feedback to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Process Optimization & Technology Utilization
- Continuously evaluate and refine the inside sales process to improve efficiency, reduce sales cycle length, and increase revenue.
- Leverage CRM systems and sales automation tools to track leads, manage opportunities, and drive sales performance.
- Stay updated with the latest sales technologies and tools to enhance team productivity.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, customer success) to ensure consistent messaging and seamless hand-offs of leads and opportunities.
- Coordinate with the external sales team to ensure leads are properly transitioned and follow-up is conducted.
- Budgeting & Resource Management
- Manage the inside sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support lead generation, sales campaigns, and team activities.
- Allocate human and financial resources to ensure coverage of high-priority sales regions and segments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales or account management, with at least 1 year in a leadership role, preferably in IT or systems integration.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions, systems integration, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
