Job Title: Leadership Role for Team Coordination

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within our team coordination function. As a Team Lead in Subtitling Coordination, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of Localization Coordinators, ensuring they align with the team's vision and objectives.

  • Lead and supervise the team, setting clear expectations and goals.
  • Communicate regularly with team members, addressing any concerns or issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as Translator Support, to report linguist pool health and plan for capacity in rare languages.
  • Identify and address conflicts early, facilitating discussions and finding satisfactory solutions.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress and plan future activities.
  • Ensure timely 1:1s with all coordinators in your span.
  • Drive HR processes and policies within the team, backing managers as needed.
  • Focus on team productivity, volume management, leave planning, business continuity, and succession planning.
  • Report project status and any issues to management, ensuring Client deadlines are met.
  • Act as a liaison between the team and Assistant Managers/Managers.
  • Monitor email inboxes to ensure timely responses from community support and freelancers.
  • Address user payments in a timely manner and resolve any pending actions.
  • Work closely with the Manager to absorb tasks when the Assistant Manager is on leave.
  • Encourage continuous improvement in coordination and communication within the team.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a graduate degree.
  • Excellent command of English language.
  • Good time management skills, excellent problem-solving skills.
