Job Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assume the role of Network Security Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in managing network security infrastructure, with expertise in designing, building, and managing security systems.
Cyber Security professionals will engage with clients, relaying project information and troubleshooting issues discovered.
Responsibilities include installing hardware, configuring firewalls, setting up VPNs, and adding upgrades.
They will also apply policies and standards to all projects, be proficient in change management and disaster response.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Good understanding in basic routing and switching concepts
- Expertise in remote infrastructure management for networks
- Hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Palo – Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint firewalls, or other network security technologies
- Perform day-to-day firewall activities like administration, management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Good knowledge on IOS upgrades and software strategies
- Hands-on experience in configuring URL filtering, file blocking, and security profiles in Palo Alto firewalls
- Review network security threat logs for intrusions and compromises and provide solutions
- Good knowledge on authentication methods like radius & tacacs
Requirements & Expectations:
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience in managing network security infrastructure
- Excellent understanding of cyber security concepts and best practices
- Strong technical skills in networking, routing, and switching
- Ability to design, build, and manage the security infrastructure of IT systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
