Network Security Position Overview

Our organization is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team in Cochin, India.

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures for our clients. As a key member of our infrastructure operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently with minimal downtime or disruptions.

Some of the core responsibilities of this position include:

  • Infrastructure Operations Management: Oversee the smooth functioning of our infrastructure operations, minimizing downtime and ensuring high service availability.
  • Security Incident Response: Identify, assess, and implement solutions to security-related incidents using industry-standard tools and practices.
  • Problem Analysis and Resolution: Lead problem analysis and resolution as an escalation point, performing regular analysis and recommendations for our infrastructure.
  • IT Solution Design and Integration: Design and integrate IT solutions for our clients based on their specific requirements.
  • Security Policy Development and Implementation: Define, enforce, and optimize firewall rules and security policies in line with industry best practices.
  • Firewall Management: Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, including FortiGate and Cisco Firepower/ASA.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 Years of Experience in network and security technologies, with a strong understanding of security policies and procedures.
  • Professional Certification in network security, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills, with the ability to work under pressure and think creatively.
  • Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
