Job Overview:

Data engineers design, build, and maintain large-scale data systems. This role involves working with big data environments, developing ETL applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data systems using Azure environment (PaaS, IaaS) and Hybrid model.
  • Big Data Environment: Work within Big Data Environment involving components like Azure Data Bricks / Pyspark / Azure Data factory.
  • ETL Applications: Develop ETL based applications in Azure.
  • Technical Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge in Azure Data Bricks / Pyspark / Azure Data factory.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • IT Experience: More than 5 to 8+ years of experience in IT.
  • Data Modelling: Minimum 7+ years' experience in Data Modelling.
  • Dimensional Data Model: Excellent experience in Dimensional Data Model.
  • Data Models: At least worked on 5 different data models in last 4-5 years.
  • Retail Sector: Strong understanding of Retail sector and experience in Retail domain data modelling is a must.
  • Data Modelling Tools: Good knowledge of at least one tool to build Data Model (Visio, Erwin or others).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data Warehousing: Knowledge of Data Warehouse, SQL, and Data Modelling.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and learning aptitude.
  • Development Skills: Development, testing, and deployment knowledge and best practice and coding standards.
